All our services are exclusively held online to ensure the convenience of both our students and tutors. We aim to provide feedback and conduct lessons as smoothly as possible so that you are getting the most value out of every session.

Our lessons are specifically held on Google Meets which allows for an immersive learning experience as well as being readily accessible for both our tutors and our students.

If you have a particular preference for in-person lessons, you can talk to your tutor privately and discuss availabilities and locations*.

*additional fees may be incurred for special in-person lessons. Essay feedback services are not available in-person.

If you notify us (via admin@orendatuition.com) that you will not be able to make a one on one lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, we can simply reschedule your lesson to another date at no additional charge.

If you notify us within 24 hours of your scheduled lesson, additional fees will be incurred to reschedule.

Note that rescheduling for group classes may not be readily available.

If you decide you no longer want to participate in a lesson you have already scheduled, you can contact us at admin@orendatuition.com to notify us.

To receive a full refund on your purchase, you will need to notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled lesson; this is so that we allow other students to book into that timeslot as well as ensuring we streamline our tutors’ timetables.

If you notify us within 24 hours of your lesson, you will only be eligible for a 50% refund.

Any notifications during or after the lesson time will not be considered and you will not receive a refund for that lesson.

Our Discord server (only available for students who have booked a lesson with us before) allows students to meet and interact with our tutors in a more casual and relaxed space, as well as meeting other students studying the same subjects across the state.

Our server gives students the opportunity to ask any small questions they may have regarding the HSC or anything of interest.

Our server is also where we upload our specialized resources tailored specifically for upcoming HSC students that have proven its effectiveness as they are resources our tutors have used themselves.

You will receive an invite to the server at the end of your lesson and you will be verified ASAP!

If you are coming up to the end of your scheduled timeframe but you want another hour to solidify some knowledge or cover more content, you can ask your tutor if they are available for another hour. If they are, you can extend the session for however long you and your tutor find sufficient.

Extending the duration of group lessons is also possible if the majority of students agree. If a student does not wish to participate in this extended lesson, they are allowed to exit the meeting after the original time has elapsed without paying for overtime.

Unless your lesson goes significantly beyond your scheduled time (longer than 30 minutes), you will not be charged for overtime.

For lessons that extend beyond that range, your tutor will record how long you went over and you will be invoiced as per your respective rate.

If you want to extend your session by an hour (and provided that the tutor is available for this session) you will simply be invoiced accordingly.

Yes! If you are stuck on a challenging concept or question in schoolwork or homework from other tutoring places, feel free to bring it up during your lesson and your tutor will be more than happy to go through it. You can even book an entire lesson dedicated to homework help if necessary.

It depends! If you are a student who has come to us simply for quick revision for an upcoming test or for homework help, it is unlikely that your tutor will give you homework.

However, if you are a long term student who plans to stick with us in the long term as your primary tutor, your tutor will likely prescribe you with some foundational and advanced questions to ensure you understand the concepts.

We also have categorized question banks for both Maths and English in our Discord server which students can take advantage of and practice as much as they want.
